Do I have to be present when the car is collected?

No. We do need someone to be with the car when it’s picked up, but it doesn’t have to be the registered keeper or owner. We ask that your nominated person has a form of photo ID with them that they can show our collection partner – a driving licence or passport is fine. If you cannot supply a V5C document with your car, we also ask that your chosen person is also able to show a utility bill dated that’s dated within the last 3 months.

Can I be paid for my car before you collect?

Unfortunately, that’s not possible. The car scrap dealers in Birmingham that we work with must ensure the car is present and was described accurately during the quote. Payment will be made promptly after the collection, in line with the scrap car network terms.

My circumstances have changed, and I no longer want to scrap my car. Is that okay?
